Our Story

Sacred Stones was founded by father and son Fred and Ben Berry, united by a lifelong love of nature and a fascination with the quiet strength of stones. Years spent fishing, kayaking, hiking, and exploring rivers often left them collecting small stones—tangible reminders of places and moments that mattered.

Over time, they began to wonder if ashes could be transformed into something equally enduring, returning loved ones to the earth in a natural form. In 2023, they developed a process to make this possible, offering families a meaningful alternative to traditional urns or scattering ashes.

Today, each memorial stone is carefully crafted in their Reidsville, North Carolina workshop, reflecting respect, attention to detail, and the beauty and individuality found in nature.

Ben

Founder & Manager

Ben helps guide the company's direction, development, and systems. His focus is on creating thoughtful memorial designs that help families maintain a lasting connection with their loved ones.

Catherine

Operations & Stone Crafting

Catherine works behind the scenes to keep the business running smoothly, handling everything from bookkeeping and compliance to marketing support and project coordination. She helps keep everything organized and moving forward so the team can focus on serving families during meaningful moments.
