About Sacred Stones and Cremation Stones from Ashes

Sacred Stones was founded by father and son, Fred and Ben Berry, from their homes in Reidsville and Black Mountain, North Carolina and has grown into a dedicated workshop in Reidsville, North Carolina.

The Story:

Stones speak to us.

We spend a lot of our free time outdoors, particularly around water - trout fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking. Often, we collect rocks and stones as reminders of these adventures.

We believing in the power of these stones as a part of nature. And we wondered if we could have our ashes turned back to stones after we are gone., and maybe returned to nature. In 2023 we developed a process to do just that. This gives you a beautiful alternative to the traditional ways of storing, memorializing, or an eco-friendly way to scatter ashes.

Specialty Rocks and Stones:

Stones have power because their shape and beauty are directly impacted by their time on this earth and as a part of the earth of where they were formed. We craft ashes into the shape of actual rocks from rivers and beaches around the world.

Her hands and heart guide much of what makes our process so meaningful.
